    The best case scenario IMO would be for BU to move to the A10 along with Drake and Belmont. Then there would be a nice western pod along with SLU, Loyola, and Dayton. I’d worry about SLU and/or Dayton eventually getting a Big East invite though.

    Winning sells more tickets than assembling a roster of locals ever could. If our locals are good enough, awesome, but a last place team with locals will have bad attendance.

    Nice to get the 2 seed instead of the 3. The 3 has to win 3 games in 36.5 hours. I know the 2 is still 39, but at least they get back to the hotel at a decent hour the first night.

    Sac State is paying $23 million ($18 million to MAC, $5 million to NCAA) and foregoing media revenue.

    Getting the 2 or 3 seed would be advantageous. While 1-5 all get a Thursday bye, the 4 and 5 play each other, so only the 1-3 have a rest advantage on Friday. Plus 2 and 3 are on the opposite end of the bracket of the #1.
