Another terrible start by BU. 17-6 after 9 1/2 minutes.
Let's go BU. Someone needs to get hot. TB has all 6 points.

I love Walt Lemon's speed and I think he has big upside, but his decision making and shooting are in need of some MAJOR work this summer.

You could easily replace "Walt Lemon" with "Shayok Shayok".

That's true. Right now I'd rather see Eastman and Woods in the lineup than those two. They might be significantly more talented, but that doesn't matter much when their decision making and/or effort is severely lacking.

If Lemon and Shayok can make some major strides in the offseason it could lead to a much better season next year. If not, I'm afraid to even watch.

He is the PLAYER I'm really talking about when I say "Getting me points." If this is the type of basketball for the future...... hang on. We will have NO team ball.

It seems to me that at least once a game Geno is forced to sit him for a good 5-minute stretch to get his attention. It only seems to work for a short while though. Maybe he needs to sit an entire half to get the point across?

I just don't understand how you can be such a terrible all around shooter and be considered the best player in practice. I'm really curious what the criteria is for being the best player in practice.....maybe it's being athletic and able to dunk the ball?

I don't know how much more Geno can do to drill this into these guys. But the question is would a different offensive scheme make a difference. They do better in a patient offense, but they still lose, and who knows the type of players he will be recruiting in the future.

SIU shot 59.6% from the field. This isn't the first time a team has shot close to 60% or higher. Where is the defensive intensity that I saw against Missouri State?

SIU is terrible. I'll let every one else comment on where that leaves us...

Can't find anything in the dictionary much worse that terrible...but right now I would call us woeful. Hard to watch. I remember having a conversation here at work back in November when GF was interviewed before the season started and was commenting about how he was focusing on the new team offense (and not working much on defense at that time)...seems like he didn't know the Valley is a very good defensive league? I think he knows now:-o

Better get back to the drawing board there Geno.

I'm remembering a comment from him about how he thought the MAC and MVC were "similar" leagues. I wonder what his thoughts are about that now?
