I went away with BU up 57-44 with about 10 to go! I think we were ahead in rebounding too!
This makes me sick!
Another sad night when I thought we had one in the bag.
This always seems to happen with Coach Les at the healm. Can't wait to go back and see what happened that we blew the lead...again.

It's not excuse for leadership.

This team needs an on-court leader. Sammy was clearly that guy. Someone needs to step up. And this point is completely independent of Les - plenty of stuff will be said about him, so I'll leave that part to the rest of you. :lol:
 
Makes no difference who's on the floor. If we have a double digit lead with 10 minutes to go in the second half, we're going to lose 9 times out of 10. No matter how well we're playing, the tempo changes, everyone starts playing tentatively and you can see it slipping away. How do you explain it?
 
If there's one thing of consistency, it's that JL will come back (as a few have said on here) next season. It's a valid excuse, if SM is taking the redshirt, it's a chance for Les to move on from what is going to be another ho-hum season.
 
Should we invoke the 24 hour rule.....like it will make a difference.

The season is OVAH.........

Oh well we should be good next year with Manisslo and Brown back. :)
 
Not sure if I'm more upset that we lost vs. a bad EIU team or a total meltdown tonight. This was a big game for the boys after a bad loss and could have brought this group together with SM and TB down.
I guess we didn't have a chance at NIT anyways.

You haven't heard? Les coaches his players to miss layups and freethrows! No.....he recruits guys that can't make layups and freethrows. No.....he recruits guys that can't stay healthy. I don't know anymore, but it's always 100% JL's fault. Bradley should have just fired the guy after 6 games and we would have won this game!

Losing at home is always bad. Losing at home to EIU is disgusting, but I was at that game and they were the better and more motivated team that night.
