BU 65 @66 Western Carolina FINAL....

I think WE had 3 RB's in the first 10 min, then none in the last 30 min....How can this be?

Coaches don't play, its true, but they do recruit and JL staff have struggled in this area....SS, DC, AT, WE, MK, and the jury is out on JP and AD....

Redshirt AD if he isn't going to see the floor in preseason, cause he won't see the floor during the Valley.

Won't even start a discussion on coaches teaching/improving the players while they are at BU....

Like a lot of the rest of you, I've been a proponent of playing bigger. I'm starting to think otherwise, because the bigs don't add much ... if anything ... scoring or rebound-wise when they're in there. I give JP a pass because he's just getting his feet wet. I think he'll be a ton down the road.

Then it's a recruiting problem by the greatest recruiter we've ever had. Other MVC teams don't seem to have problems getting serviceable bigs. Matt Salley would be a godsend at this point...what does that say about the quality of our bigs? Again - Someone has to be accountable. Who is it?

You haven't heard? Les coaches his players to miss layups and freethrows! No.....he recruits guys that can't make layups and freethrows. No.....he recruits guys that can't stay healthy. I don't know anymore, but it's always 100% JL's fault. Bradley should have just fired the guy after 6 games and we would have won this game!

YA, missed layups and free throws are on the players:!: But the decision to go small after the players built a 12 point lead, with 10 to go and was on a roll to win this one, was on no one other than, GO SMALL JIMMY:-x He's like a drug addict in that he can't break away from his habit:roll:
I am tried of it and I am more tried of people running to his side and blaming the player's or coming up with any other excuse for the L's when they should be W's:!: Come on Man:roll:

This game should have been won, I do not what the problem is with Will but he should be a lot better player then what he is and is letting his teamates down, a 6-9 player that can jump should ave. 8-9 boards a game if he is giving it his all, Thompson is well just not talented, Prosser did good for a freshman so the key inside is Will.

ATTENTION WILL EGOLF!!! You're better than this! Watch the tape of the Illinois game from last year, friend!!! You played like a beast!!! If you need a copy of the tape of that game hit me up with a PM..... I'll send it to ya..... No charge.

what did Woods do so impressive? 9 minutes....one steal...0-1 from the field

My :doubt: too:? JL said he is going to get more playing time:roll: Oh, he did make a stupid foul with 3 sec's. to go in the first half, to let them shoot 2(make)
and take a sure 5 point half time lead to a 3:roll:

You can't play big when you have the lousy collection of bigs we have. Outside of Prosser, who I like a lot, the rest are colossal disappointments.
And the bad news is that the next batch of bigs that Les has delivered to the Hilltop appear to be even bigger projects (Davis, Wells) and less talented than the two failed 4th year projects we currently are saddled with. Yippee!!

Ghost town at Carver on Saturday upcoming! if 7K show up, I'll be impressed. Apathy is settling in for a potentially lonnnnng stay on the hilltop.

Think you'll be impressed. Are you plannng on being there? This is when the young men need us the most and I'm sure the 'Blue Hairs" and the other real fans will be there.
