BW has built a winning program here,Wardle's been mentioned numerous times over the years for various positions, but nothing beyond the "mention" stage. If Loyola were to hire him, they would have to at least match his current salary. Would be more of an incentive for BW to get more than his current salary to take into account the higher cost of living in the Chicago area. Also, have to take into account whether or not he would want to inherit a dumpster fire at Loyola just like he did at BU.
Valentine has tanked a winning program there. (about to go 1-9 in A10 & 14th/;ast place, avoiding 15th place only because UMass left the A-10)
Would BW want to start from scratch again and take over for a failed program?
