we have totally forgotten how to go down low - and have fallen desperately in love with the three...

edit -- we finally go down low to Will & get fouled & go to the line - get something out of that possession..
 
how can we let Joey Miller drive right into the lane for an easy, short shot?
..we finally go twice right down low and duh............we get four points out of those two trips ??
 
OK - now Jake has clanked 3 long ones - and none were close - then next two possessions we take it in the lane & score both times -- hmmm...

It's nothing more than the ebb and flow of the college game tornado. I wouldn't read anything more into it... We are not a Duke.
 
We have a team full of players with marginal, at best, basketball IQ... Most are just not natural "players", but rather athletes that have had to learn the game... Most of our guys just don't have the natural "feel" for the game. otherwise they would have likely gone somewhere higher than BU. They can be coached on the fundamentals but, if they haven't learned them by the time they get to college it is unlikely that they can play fundamental ball consistently. This BU team must hit on all cylanders to beat most teams... We're getting there though. :D
 
Wow! UIC showed on that last trap against Lemon just how well coached they are; they obviously practiced that defensive play. I'm shocked more teams don't do the same as Lemon is VERY predictable, especially in that situation.
 
4 assists total, lots of one on one- I am not sure our PG has any asst...
we need to pass better......still have a chance
 
omg - just as I say that our pg brings it into the frontcourt & launches from 25' without a songle look or pass
We might still win with raw individual talent but we are not playing as a team..

these guys doing the play by play are horrible...
he says we are losing because we are a team with nine new players and virtually no experience or talent...

what the hey???

no experience?? - we are quite possibbly the team with more minutes played than any other team in the MVC - 6th year seniors, kids who have been starting since they were freshmen..

no talent?? -

nine new players?? Is he counting the three walk ons PLUS the two guys who are not even eligible??
ONLY ONE of the TOP EIGHT guys in playing time is new...Tyshon...and he's got two years of juco experience.
Other than that, 3 of our new guys never play because they're walk ons and you can't really count wells as a new guy since he was here last year.

so basically - only two guys that get used are new (Tyshon & Bell.)
 
that is horrible - Will Egolf was given 3 or 4 fouls that he didn't deserve

DSE & Walt simply carrying us but can they carry us a bit further!

It is an accomplishment to finish at or above .500 for Geno after only 2 years. We have a good one here
 
The UIC broadcaster repeatedly described Bradley as a team with no talent that plays a good game plan and still wins some..

I kinda disagree - we are a team of very talented guys - and we don't always play a good game plan but they play hard and they can literally carry us at times when we're in foul trouble or not passing & playing a good game plan

I heard him say we need an infusion of talent if we wanted to rebuild the program to sustainable success. His opinion
