Bradley is coming off home wins in their last 2 games against Drake and UNI, while Evansville, who had lost 8 straight games before this past weekend, is coming off a 72-69 road win at Indiana State on Saturday. Evansville played without their leading scorer, Connor Turnbull.
Bradley will most likely see the same starting lineup for Evansville, unless Connor Turnbull returns.
Box score from Evansville's last game, a 72-69 win at Indiana State-

Bradley beat Evansville 76-68 in Peoria on December 29, in a game that was closer than many expected. Evansville raced out to a 13-0 lead in that game, and Bradley spent the rest of the first half trying to catch up, but Evansville lead 35-31 at halftime. The second half stayed close until Bradley took the lead for good with about 6 minutes left in the game. Evansville Josh Hughes was 4-8 from three for Evansville. In the 4 games since then for Evansville, he has been just 2-14 from three.

Critical game b/c it's a road game we should win. Gotta go at least .500 on the road in league games to have a shot at Top 3.

Agree this is a must win period. Ill.St. on the road Saturday will be a tough one for us because they always play their best against us. Need that win Tues. night if we want to be in that top3 or 4 of the Valley. A stronger start will be needed in order to win this game.

The MVC Availability Report for games Tuesday, Jan. 13, and Wednesday, Jan. 14-

Bradley players reported- NONE

Evansville players reported:
6'5" 5th year part-time starting guard Keishon Porter- OUT
6'10" senior starting forward Connor Turnbull- QUESTIONABLE

Connor Turnbull has been dealing with a knee injury. In the game against Bradley on Dec. 29, he was scoreless with 7 rebounds.
Keishon Porter played 19 minutes off the bench in the Dec. 29 game, and had 4 points and 2 rebounds.

Nice job. I enjoy your insight and evaluation of teams & games, and now your branching out into podcasting and video interviews. It takes a lot of dedication and time, but I hope you keep it up. 👍

Keishon Porter, transfer form NC Central, had started 10 of their first 16 games, but has not played since Jan. 4.
He left midgame in a 14-pt loss to UNI and there's never been any mention since of injury. There's some speculation
that he may not be with the team any more.

Connor Turnbull, undoubtedly their best player, likewise has not played since Jan. 4. No official word on injury, with some of ]their
fans wondering what's going on as well. In the Evansville game in Peoria, Turnbull did not look good. As noted, he played just 15 minutes
mostly due to foul trouble, but still missed every shot (0-6) and contributed little. Evansville's chances of staying out of Thursday
are non-existent, so I'd have to think they will not rush Turnbull back. We'll see in about an hour.
Turnbull, btw, was selected as 2nd Team All MVC by that panel of media people, but he's averaging just 5 pts/ 5 reb since before Christmas.

We have too many guys with zero points in the first half. I find it embarrassing to be losing to a team that is not very good. Two guys that start for us and are one and done players have a combined 2 points and that was our first basket of the game. I am a firm believer that if you are going to bring in players with only 1 year to play they should be much better then these 2 guys. Trying to figure out how we evaluate talent.

just don’t get why we can’t get Alex open for better looks. These other teams get their guys open for shots so easily.. we don’t run much for him either, and seems when we do we can’t get him open.
1 shot for him is ridiculous.. needs to get 5-10 shots per game

Bradley with another bad start and a poor-shooting first half.
Halftime score- Evansville 36 Bradley 29
Stats- https://stats.statbroadcast.com/broadcast/?id=611624
Bradley shooting 36.4% (12-33) and just 14.3% from three (2-14).
Rebounds- Evansville 23 Bradley 15

The good news- only 1 turnover for the half.
Jaquan Johnson leads BU with 11 points. Also- 2 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals

I am so glad to see the ref call the offensive foul on the 3-point shooter who intentioally kicks his leg out
for NO other reason than to try to draw the foul...
Thank you, that IS the correct call.
