Mccain

Nation? Let's calm down a bit there. I'll take an all-conference guard or two first. We haven't had a 1st teamer in a while.

Please! How could you forget? :)
It's only been about 9 months since Bradley had a first-team All MVC guard! Jeremy Crouch was 1st team 2007-2008 All MVC last year--

Also, Daniel Ruffin was honorable mention last year, mainly because he missed 9 games late in the season due to injury and suspension, otherwise he also might have also been 1st team.

In 2006-2007, Bradley had two 2nd team All-MVC, not bad considering the 3 guards on the first team were Jamaal Tatum, Blake Ahearn, and Nate Funk- 2 of the 3 played in the NBA, and Funk wasn't too bad, either.

They were the 2 best guards on the floor...
WHAT:? SS didn't look to bad on that fast break:!: The way he dribbled the ball down the court and then dished off:!: MAN, think what would of happen if he hadn't passed and the defender would of tried to take the charge:eek: All kidding aside he should be our started a the 5 rest of the year:!:

McCain and Norris both have good looking shots as the rotation on the ball is just about perfect; T.Brown has a great nose for the ball which is why he rebounds so well, A.Thompson has very good post moves and needs to play more in order to improve, add Wilkins and this could be a very special group.

McCain said that very same thing during his postgame radio interview.

The Edge actually mentioned Wilkins?

I wish we could hear some official news on him, good news that is.:) I'm still very cautiously optimistic about him being here. After a nagging foot injury that won't heal, a torn ACL to our starting center, and now a broken nose to our new starting center I'd say this program is due/deserves some good news.

There's zero evidence that leads me to believe we can win 3 games in a row in St. Louis. I believe our record down there 3-6 over the last 6 years.

That's always bothered me as well considering JL has done so well in other post season tournament play. I think it's the old playing an opponent for a 3rd time thing or that they are familiar opponents.

Other programs haven't had much of a problem with it. Either our players aren't as good as we are led to believe or it's something else.

Creighton has had a lot of success at winning during the MVC tourney, but not in the NCAA tourney. They've had some very good teams during the past 15 years but can't seem to solve the NCAA tourney puzzle. Funny how stuff like this happens.

BB-I'm not trying to counter your post or anything, just stating how surprising it is to me that Creighton has not gotten some quality wins in the NCAA with good players, a good coach, and several opportunities. Especially since they normally do very well in a tourney setting in St Louis.

I know, I am just making a point. We hang our hat on one year, they hang theirs on a decade. We had one year where we had some NCAA success. They've had a decade of NCAA appearances to go along with their 20 win seasons, conference titles, and conference tourney titles. If I had a choice I know which one I would choose.

I agree. They've built a great program, Which makes it all the more puzzling. They've had it all, but the post season success.

It is like having ice cream every day of your life, or ice cream with chocolate, whip cream and cherries only once in your life.....which do you choose? I could have used another analogy, but this is a family board..

I guess if you can have different flavors everyday then I'd go with that but the if it is just vanilla!

What really looks good is next years soph. class of EM-DN-TB-AT-JW-red shirt WE....this is really something to build on.....Freshman Jordan Prosser and Milos Knezevic with one more ride to give for next season!
