just saw a premium blog placing Jerrance Howard, Ray Giacoletti, Taveras Hardy, IU assistant Tim Buckley, and even Jim Boylen at NIU soon for interviews..

Thanks for the follow up. I have 3 yrs on you...grew up under Versace and Albeck and was at BU to experience Molinari right the program. And being satisfied with 5th place and making the NCAA every 10 to 15 years is absolutely unacceptable here, period. If one wants to argue with that, well....if I cannot say anything nice...;-)

I keep saying 1 ncaa every 4 years should be the goal...remainder in the nit with an cbi once out of every two four year spans

Well I'd be OK with that. I am not sure they really know though.It also for me would not fit Tornado's statement that if the hire was finalized it would shock people. It is not a overwhelmingly good or bad hire in my opinion.

I like the Wisconsin connection. I hope he could recruit a little better here than at UWM. I still am not sure anything is finalized. It may just be talk.Or it may be completely wrong. I have no idea.

I also think if they are set with a coach, Tuesday or Wednesday would be good days to announce it before the NCAA games start up again.
 
Sounds like Jeter may be the top candidate as he has head coaching experience and is a good recruiter, he would have everything we are looking for and hopefully it gets done by Friday.

If it is a for sure choice, I'd like to have it done by Wednesday to get a little Pub before the NCAA games start up.

Oh, and have him swing through Louisville and meet with Remy right away.

There obviously is no love lost between JL/KK and Glasser, but I don't think they would steer anyone away from the university. They both love(d) it to much to do that.

Nothing worse than a guy who knows squat about something airing it in front of a wide audience...that and all of hid coaching interest information was from somebody's blog!

Haha, he clearly knows something, he's spot-on with the favorite, and about anyone who knows the workings of the administration would agree with what he said. SRW is right, it's something MC and JG are now going to have to live with. Run off 2 (3) respected people in unfavorable fashion and words going to get out. It doesn't mean they can't be successful, but they are making it harder on themselves.
