Northern Iowa at Bradley Saturday 12/29 - 2:05 pm

Sorry but, I believe as an experienced Senior. One of of the two returning leading scorers in The Valley One of the leading 3 point shooters in the game, JC should be our go to guy-leading scorer with an avg near 20ppg. He is capable of leading The Valley in scoring not being 7th,, but that is just me.
I think given better looks, he is our best outside shooter, with or without Ruffin.

I don't disagree with that, just pointing out that he hasn't exactly been missing his shots. This team is a long way off from having JC average near 20ppg when there is NO inside game at all and not much of an outside game either with Ruffin out. Also, there's only one player in the Valley averaging more than 16ppg.

Grassman is right about our bigs playing way too soft; when our inside players decide to play with a chip on their shoulders and start contributing more then JC will start to get more shots and will get his scoring ave. up ; it is time for our players to decide how bad they want to win a valley championship as it is up for grabs with not one clear cut favorite and it is up to everyone of them to go out and win these games by playing tougher and harder then they have lately because they showed what they were capable of against Mich. St. .

I think that was my original point:confused:

BU favored by 6 tomorrow over the Panthers. I don't know if the oddsmakers know about DR's injury or not, but either way I think the Braves are going to respond tomorrow in a very good way. It's time for this team of newcomers to grow up and stop feeling sorry for themselves.

I wouldn't bet that game even with your money BradleyBrave.... but if someone held a gun to my head and said play it... I guess I'd take Bradley. I hope the last week of practice brings out some stinking "D"!

I wouldn't bet the game either, but I have a lot of confidence that BU doesn't want to end 2007 with 3 straight home losses. It's time for these Braves to grow up. This is why we played the brutal non-con...to be ready for any and all challenges.

The team is fine...the FANS need to pick it up though.

Nothing new reported on Daniel Ruffin. As many here know, Daniel was examined by an "out of town specialist" Friday--

I'm guessing it's probably to keep UNI preparing for Ruffin in some capacity, but does anyone honestly think Daniel will suit up today? I sure don't, and I am not sure I want him to unless he's pain free and isn't risking re-injury.

I believe JC is doing all that he can do. The opponents' D are gearing for him and our outside game and until we are capable of scoring in the paint not much will change. One thing about JC is that he does not try to do more then he can. I'd like to see him be able to create his own shot by driving in and pulling up for a mid-range jumper, other then that he has played within his capabilities to what has been given.

BTW..Any free feeds out there today? I'll try the CSTV links on Channelsurfing but I can't find anything else beyond that.

The 4th hand info I'm getting is kiss January good bye......

When DR first got hurt I made a comment about sitting him for Wright State, Butler and VCU if needed because the conference was MORE importaint. Wow.....how that month off would have been nice.

OUCH! 10+ games is a lot to overcome without a senior PG who was averaging 34 min/game before the Butler game.
