I did not realize they went to College Park, MD earlier this year and beat Gary Williams' Terrapins on their own floor. They seem to have played everyone tough on their schedule with the exception of Kansas.
Hey all
Looks like I will finally get to see Andrew at home. Followed him through AAU and High School. Have been to busy following the Bobs to take his pop up on the offer to come out and see a game. Sure nice to see him back in the line up. Pops buying the pocorn, you guys sell beer? He still owes me.:-D. This gonna be a good trip.
Looking forward to the trip from Indiana out west.

Welcome to the forum bornacatfan! Hopefully it will be an exciting game! We both hope for different outcomes, but that doesn't mean we can't be civil about it.
It is expensive (from what I've heard), though. There are also quite a few bars around Carver. Many forum members recommend Hoops ).
They lost twice by double digits to Miami of Ohio. I went to the Tulsa/Miami of Ohio game tonight and the Redhawks were way overmatched. If that was any indication, Bradley should win easily Monday. Either that or Tulsa is the team to beat for sure in the CBI.
Hey thanks. I have never had a problem tipping a few with fellow hoopheads. Hoops sounds good, hopefully I can find a nice Micro or at least ...ummm Goose Island since we will be in IL. Games should be competitive but friendly on and off the court.
Buffalo Wild Wings in East Peoria is always a good call. Plus, it's right next to a bridge that'll take you right to Carver Arena. Enjoy your trip.
I 2nd Buffalo Wild Wings. Get some good wings and watch the game for as long as you like. They won't harass you for staying and watching. They have most of the Bradley games, I would be 95% certain they would have the Drake/Butler game on. Address and link to BWW if coming from Carver Arena/Civic Center downtown...
BWW- 833 W. Camp St, East Peoria, IL.... It's only a mile and a couple turns from Carver Arena. Just beware that if your going straight to Carver after BWW, you'll have to turn right on Adams St because Jefferson is a 1 way street.

If you are looking for a place with local flavor, HOOP"S Pizza is a hole in the wall place 1 block east of the arena across from the Hotel Pere Marquette on Main St.
Great pizza and lots of Peoria and BU hoops memoabilia.
I agree. Hoop's or Sully's, close to the arena, lot's of BU flavor.
I love Hoops pre or post game or late at night, but I don't think it is really a good place to go watch a game. The tvs are an after thought in the place.
BW3 always works and even the bar area at Old Chicago has a good setup. Nikky's sports bar has some really good tvs for watching HD.
Gorman's up by Campus (In the campus town shopping center) is another good bar to hit as it has tons of Bradley stuff in there and is close to campus, and a short 5 minute trip down the hill to the arena.
Sully's downtown or Gorman's by campus are my suggestions if you're looking for some local flavor.
BW3 is fine but the one in E. Peoria is no different than any of the others all over the place.
If you want more of a true bar to hang out, there is an ex-Bradley player who owns and operates a sports bar/pub about a block or so away from the Civic Center in Peoria.
Hoops Pub & Pizza is on Main St. a block or two away.
Hope this helps, the bar is owned by Kerry Cook, a player from Bradley's Versace era.

Don't go to Gormans unless you want to watch an entire game and maybe get two drinks total. Service is aweful unless you know someone around there. I think they hate money.
I'd hit up Bdubs or Sully's. If you need a place to hang your head after a tough loss go back to Sully's or head to Crusen's, Cam's, or Jimmy's on Farmington Road up by BU's campus.
Who does?![]()

I'm thinkin more like 20 bars on 1 stretch of Court Street. Students do this thing called the COURT STREET SHUFFLE, You buy a Shuffle T-shirt it has all the Bars Names on Court Street on it. You start on either end of Court Street. You go in each bar drink 1 drink and move on, Before you move on you have the Bartender sign your T-Shirt with a magic marker to prove you we're there and drank, then you move on to the next bar. When your done you'll be hammered and have alot of Bartenders Autograph's, not sure how many students have made it to the end but i know alot of them have tried.GO BOBCATS !!!!!
