Thank you Braves

Why would anyone tweet something that they dont want to be held accountable for? For that matter why would someone post something here that they dont want to be held accountable for? If you say something, mean it. If you mean something, be willing to back it up.

then why does this not go for everyone - even those who for 10 years have attacked the team & coaching staff as well as other posters for their support of the team & coaches?

Considering some here have actually been blamed for losing games, the underachieving of players, and the decline of Bradley basketball, I am not surprised by this ridiculous post.

Some might say this....do you realize the lack of support for the previous coaching staff by some so-called fans is actually responsible for the worst season in the history of Bradley basketball.

I have seen some ridiculous posts on many ridiculous places, but this one takes the cake. This is more absurd than the argument that BU players shoot poorly at the Civic Center because they don't practice there.

How exactly are these "so-called fans" responsible for recruiting misses, late game technicals, poor game planning, and the infamous injuries?

I hope this was tongue in cheek..

If you truly believe Bradley would have had a 25 loss season last year if there wasn't a coaching change, then you are the first and only person who believes that.

Wow it was serious...ok.

And the "so-called fans" had what to do with that?

I was under the impression that Joanne Glasser and Mike Cross were the major decision makers on that one with permission from the board.

the losses, the blowouts, the strikingly small and disappointing crowds, etc...
this is NOT what Bradley basketball is historically all about -- we all want to see better...
but we should not ignore what got us here.........and it wasn't the fans - so it stumps me that we see fans blaming other fans for supporting the team!

Why can't my favorite sports teams fans (Bradley basketball and Green Bay Packers) just let things go?

I'm not sure if I'm more sick of the endless Favre/Rodgers comparisons or people still bitter over JL being let go. Change is inevitable, deal with it folks. All the coulda, woulda, shoulda's are just a waste of keystrokes or breath.

Neither side of the argument can say they are "letting it go." Both sides bring up JL constantly, one to praise, the other to rip.

Not really but I'm catching up:)...just visiting a friend to play pickle ball but I see why so many retirees would go down there.......good grief did I just say that? I must be getting close:-o

I told wily that my folks have been spending time down there with some other people from Morton. I was concerned that it was some kind of cult.

Hmmmm...now that you mention it they were driving their golf carts around with glazed over look in their eyes;)

Yeah....maybe it would have been 22 or 20 or 10 or 27...that fact is no one knows for sure. The change wasn't made just for last year....you know that DC..

There are extremes on both sides and quite frankly it's more about the posters than anyone at BU that has caused many to lose their sense of being objective.

Hey we WON we beat the dead birds, let's all be happy for once. This, he said she said stuff is getting (f)ing old! If it continues I may have to take a break from here. We have what we have and nothing from the past is going to help us going forward. This is worse then the arguments I have with my fiance about things I did 5 years ago.

Now on to the subject of this thread. Thank you team! Go Braves!

I agree and CONGRATULATIONS TO THE BRAVES FOR A GREAT VICTORY-I had a lot of fun and the crowd was very loud-keep it up.

Can we get the students to come back for our next home game Tuesday vs. Evansville? What does Bradley need to do to get them out? I know Pres. Glasser made a great effort to encourage the turnout vs. ISU.
