Thanks crowd

All that has been said in this thread reminds me just exactly why I love the atmosphere and the fans that head to St. Louis for the tournament.

Everyone is very nice and no one gets on anyone's case for standing up and cheering and yelling as loud as possible. (At least in my experience)

As long as I don't have to interact with the Creighton or SIU fans, its a great weekend. :)

The majority of the fans from even CU and SIU are good people. There are just a few bad examples.

That is becuse the real fans, people who truly love their team and basketball in general, are in St. Louis. :!:

Grassman, not every BU fan lives within driving distance of St. Louis. Not every BU fan can afford to spend a weekend in St. Louis. Not every BU fan can get days off work to go down there.

That doesn't make them less of a fan does it?

No it does not, and that was not my intent.Obviously many great fans cannot, for whatever reason, get to St. Louis.
However, those that do go down are there to see, not to be seen!
They are there, out of their devotion to their team and generally have a higher degree of knowledge and love ot the game than those that drop by Carver for a night out..

Good point. But I have no problem with those dropping by Carver for the night. It doesn't affect my fandom one way or another. Maybe they will enjoy themselves and become season ticket holders. That would be great.

I don't care what someones intentions are for coming to a game. Just come to the game. That's cool. I don't expect everyone to be as into the game as me. Just like when I go to the symphony occasionally I'm not going to be as into as a season ticket holder. But I am still welcome there.

Horrible example about the fans at a symphony Kevin.......they are MUCH louder then those at Carver.:)

I'd love to see him pick a fight with Chico or OoB. Somebody would be gettin' an @ss whoopin' ;)

Yeah....Chico would go Mrs. Tiger Woods on em and knock a tooth out with a 7 iron. :) Of course only CU fans....SIU fans don't have any teeth to knock out. :)
