Wofford v. Illinois

Wofford is up 32-27 on Illinois with 3 minutes to go in the 1st half. It'd be a nice RPI boost for us if they can do it, but I'm guessing Illinois will adjust in the 2nd half and take the game.

Maybe this shuts up some people who were giggling about Wofford..
trust me if Wofford was on ISU's schedule, they wouldn't be laughing..

Well tough break for Wofford. They were tied with 0:01 left, but the Illini hit a 3 pointer to go up 42-39. Let's see if Wofford can compete just as hard in the 2nd half.

Is the game being broadcast on the radio? Maybe BigTen Network? Streaming online? Would like to watch or listen to the 2nd half.

After a 50-50 tie, Illinois has started to pull away. Wofford has gone cold, and the Illini now lead 70-57 with 4 minutes left.

Wofford ran out of gas but they played the Illini tough. For as big as they are, the Illini certainly didn't rebound well against a smaller team. Bradley definitely needs to look at this game tape for ways to gain an advantage (if they get a chance to play U of I).

Wofford led the whole first half except for a last possession 3 by Illinois. Was up by 8 at one point and Wofford was outrebounding IL by about 10 or so at the half. However, IL really toughened up the D in the 2nd half and got hot on the offense. Not to mention getting some home cooking from the refs on a few plays when the score was close. Really a momentum killer.

Illini got a few home cooked calls no doubt! I'm worried about OSU more then the Illini at this point. We will need to play 40 minutes of ball and execute the last 5 minutes to win. Our energy level needs to be cranked up the whole time.

I don't "worry" about anyone except BU...we have enough problems of our own.:)

I've not seen OSU play yet this year, but I've not been overly impressed with Illinois. We could definately beat them if we show up with our "A" game.
