Congrats to UNI on the Win.....when team beats you 3 times in a season they are just better!

I know most of you disagree, but I don't want another CBI thing. Another one or two or three games isn't going to make this team better for next year. I have a positive vibe for next year, and I think it's time to move on.

A CBI would be alright I guess. I mean it was virtually DC's coming out party last season, maybe it will be a sign for Thompson this yr? Brown could certainly use a couple games of starters minutes. They will also have to evaluate on fan attendance this yr with the economy also. I think it was $60,000 entry last season. I myself will probably not be able to make it due to tightening the belts and i'm sure quite a few others are in the boat.

Disappointing game. I thought Bradley played fairly well, but UNI was very good, and very consistent. Bradley did a good job of taking the three-point shot away from UNI, and neutralizing Farohkmanesh and Moran, but their ability to drive, and Koch's ability to score and get to the line gives UNI more weapons than any other MVC team.

I think it would have been a different game if Bradley had an outside threat like Warren. I believe the team would like to play in the CBI or CI.com.

Well, in my opinion, not playing any more games won't make them better. I think we need every bit of experience we can get, and I understand the same can be said for other teams in the same situation. But I'd rather play more games now, and hope that can be the difference next year.

Besides, without the CBI, perhaps TW is not as good this year and we finish under .500. Sometimes improvements are small and aren't always obvious to everyone. But I truly believe the CBI last year made us a better team this year, not a great team like people wanted, but a better team. Any postseason we can get this year will help us next year as well.

UNI just played better. Shooting 50% for the game...UNI's PG Ahelegbeimpresses me every time I see him play.

I'll probably will not be on the forum as much because this does take a lot of time away from my work. I thought the team did battle and hard pretty good energy for the whole game but they came up short. Before I say anything let me say UNI deserved the victory and difference really was Ahelegbe (sp).

I thought the refs did a poor job especially in the 1st 1/2 which I believe impacted the way we played. I was at a bar with no sound, what was that T for? There are those that will say they called bad calls for both team. True, but I wish we had officials in the Valley that would not have to do that and for once let the players decide the outcome! Also we never had a made shot and foul it always seemed to be called prior to the shot???? This has to be the most horrendous year that I have seen officiating in the Valley. There were people around me watching the game asking what were the refs doing? I hope something is truly done in this category and that the Valley raises it's standard and pay in order to attract the best.

The one thing that killed us was that we could not contain Ahelegbe when we had to. He really took it to our guards and was a beast. Great finisher. Also this game TW could not make the mid-range that he made yesterday. They did a great job for the most part of pushing DC out further then he likes for his shots. TW hits his mid-range and DC gets the ball a little deeper and it is a different game!

Our shooting is what it is and hopefully the presence of AW next year will change that. Also I hope EM works on his shot from the top of the key. He was open way to much to not take that shot.

SM played a great game and really showed us why he is the captain of this team! I hope we go to a tournament this year but that JL plays TB and AT a lot to see what they can really do and give DN the green light to shoot. I was very proud of the way our guys acted and how they never gave up. We were not out coached! What a joke of a statement. We missed a few shots that could have changed the complexity of the game. JL did a great job with what he had to work with!

Next year as long as there are no injuries my expectations will be pretty high. GO Braves!

There's some great teams in there. I think any would be very competitive for our team.

We played fairly well in St. Louis. We had a bad second half. The only surprising negative I saw was the post timeout and post half possessions. I think one of Jim's strengths usually is the fact we run some nice set plays after a timeout and get lobs or open shots. It was reversed on us today. Several times they were able to get wide open shots or lobs after a timeout.

Great teams??? There are zero great teams in there. There are only a select few teams in there that I do not feel embarassed playing in a post season tourney against.

I would imagine he meant teams with basketball names. Last year we beat some well known basketball teams in the CBI. They just didn't have their normal season. Wouldn't mind playing in the CBI again.

Can't we at least get decent refs for the Valley tournament?

Don't get me wrong, we didn't play well in the second half, and I don't like to blame the refs for a loss, but they certainly didn't help.

The refs may have affected the game making so many calls. However of the calls that looked like they were missed, I think we were better off than Northern Iowa. I don't think that was the problem.
