Not sure if this has been posted - Wilkins

The Iowa courts want to know how you feel about their system and their judges..
they are asking for people to give their opinion...check the link in my signature..

Ouch. Wow. I think what Danny Granger did to BU is worse than anything John Wilkins could possibly do, and I didn't even wish that on him.

I did. Didn't wish him any bad luck physically but didn't want him to be successful either. Too bad my wish didn't come true.

is his team done playing?

we need to go to his last game wherever it is....and all wear Bradley shirts.....

The website isn't good at giving the dates in their updates, but it looks like they play next Tuesday in Hutchinson, Kansas:

Btw, noticed in the picture and on the roster JW's number is 33. Interesting number for a guy that might come to Bradley.

Here is the front page for men's basketball:

ouch Kansas....

and maybe his number is an OMEN....i am serious....I bet he is doing it on purpose as a subliminal message to us all....

too bad he will need to find a different number..but maybe he will average 35 a game for 3 seasons and be our all time leading scorer?

the article claims JW will select between Indiana & Iowa State... but it does not say he will sign and doesn't indicate if he has an offer from either school...
I guess the choice is in JW's hands...

Here's a quote--
"I’m pretty much down to two schools. It’s very likely that I will either attend Iowa State or Indiana."

Sounds like it's about time to stick a fork in it.

If true-- I'm not going to go as far as a couple of posters, but this isn't like Iman Shumpert who Bradley went after but who made a decision and that's his prerogative, but I think Bradley and Bradley fans have some room for a bit of beef with Wilkins. At this point I'm pretty sure Bradley expended a great deal of resources not only in recruiting in John but in trying to get him eligible here, and for all I know at his Juco. He committed here and if he's not showing up so he can go play at Iowa St or Indiana then I'll move on, but I won't be cheering for him I don't think (like I do for Shumpert).

Who knows... Sounds like Lickliter might get axed, and I don't think Iowa State has any schollies. Maybe he'll walk on or something.

I nominate that thing on the right as our new mascot.

However -- just maybe a couple events that are occurring will cause JW to reconsider...

reportedly 2 of Iowa State's best players are leaving with potential eligibility remainnig - Craig Brackins will go in the NBA draft, and Marquis Gilstrap has reportedly been denied an additional year (redshirt) so he is done also..

So just given that, Iowa State was going to be in a severe rebuilding mode and there's rumors that coach Greg McDermott might not even make it very much further into all this rebuilding that has never kept them far from last place anyway...

Now, reportedly two more young players are bolting and want to play elsewhere...
Dominique Buckley (sophomore guard) and Justin Hamilton (6-11 soph) are leaving as of right now...and have asked to be released...

That brings to about 20, the numbers of players who have bolted from Iowa State with eligibility remaining in just the few short years McDermott has been there, causing plenty of people there to want the guy FIRED!

Indiana is an even worse rebuilding project that's guaranteed another couple 22 loss seasons...but heaven knows if a kid wants easy playing time, he might still head there, but the program is a laughingstock... people are beginning to simply pity IU and their fans..

the most active discussions on the Iowa State board center on who has the worst overall program and most dismal future.....and they throw Iowa in there as well!

All I can say is that nothing has changed.
The report does not specifically say that he has elimintated BU, and I do not think he has. :D

Isn't there a quote attributed directly to him that says he's down to two schools and that they are Iowa State and Indiana?

I'm all for Bradley-love and kool aid. I've established that time and again... But, DC, HE just said he's eliminated BU.

No, some writer for that Iowa State site just SAID he said that. We have seen this phenomenon before. Everyone can get upset over this if they want, but I would advise waiting.

Here is what was printed in that article-

Cyclone Sports Report: Which schools are your favorites at the moment?
John Wilkins: I??™m pretty much down to two schools. It??™s very likely that I will either attend Iowa State or Indiana.
