Offers for 2026 and beyond

Look at the roster of the top valley teams. Belmont has a 6'10" and 3-6'9" players that include Dillon, another freshman, Omre, and Schnarski. Unless the portal gets them, they will all be back next year.

Murray has 1-7'0", 1-6'10", 4 6'9", as well as 1-6'8". Most could be back next year.

UIC has 2-6'10" and 2-6'8" players.

UNI has several players above 6'8".

Going back to Donald Reese is I think going back over 20 years. Joe Allen definitely is. Yes I was there.

I think most people forget how much the average size of front line players has increased over the last 20 years. There have been good big men at Bradley and some that did not develop but again I am talking the average height.

the portal will change everything next year...just like it did the last couple years...
The two most dominant teams the past 2 years were Indiana State & Drake - both lost a ton
to the portal and both are no longer dominant.

And in addition to the portal, this year there are 2 MVC coaches whose names are being mentioned for higher jobs- Casey Alexander and Ryan Miller.
If that happens, those two rosters will be depleted, just as Drake's and Indiana State's were when their head coaches left.
Next year could look a lot different in the MVC.

I will admit that didn’t think Richardson would end at Bradley. Has Bradley ever managed to recruit a player from Richwoods? I can remember a few Allstate players from there going to Illinois. If I had to hazard a guess this early in his career, I imagine he will follow Kit or is it Kitt.

Has Bradley ever managed to recruit a player from Richwoods?
Mason Alwan, Ryan Phillips, James Robertson, and Steve Day (1961-64)

btw- a couple of our recruit guys with offers play tonight

One more note-
Montana Wheeler's dad, Teddy Wheeler led Houston Xavier to another State Championship (back-to-back),
with Macodou Diouf being named the Tournament MVP
Their big man and top scorer, 6-8 Macadou Diouf, claims he has been offered by Bradley.
LINK

From his Instagram: You probably have to be logged into Instagram to view the content, but I placed the text below:

"Macodou Diouf is a 2026 6’8 F from Xavier Academy/One Time Legends.
Big time rebounder who can stretch the floor. The underrated prospect
currently holds a D1 offer from Bradley."

Eastern Florida State College's Sean Register, Jr named Player of the Week for the 5th time-

NJCAA (juco) Regional and District Championships begin later this week and end on March 14.
At That time the 16 District Champions plus 8 At-Large teams will travel to the Hutchinson Sports Arena, Hutchinson, Kansas
to compete March 21-28 for the National Championship

All 24 teams are seeded 1-24, then games that week begin at noon daily w/ the top 8 seeds getting a 1st round bye
and the lower 16 seeds playing the first round Sat & Sun, with those 8 winners then matched in a single-elimination
bracket against the 8 bye teams.
Mon & Tues games eliminate all but 8 teams then the four quarterfinals are on Wed.
Thurs is a day off, the semi's are on Friday, then the Championship game is Saturday March 28 at 1pm.
It seems all the schools our guys play for are good enough that they'd be there as at-large teams if they don't win their Districts.

Noah Williams' school, Barton CC, won the National Championship in 2024
Braylon Roman's school, NW Florida State won the National Championship in 1995, 2015 & 2022
Ben Thornbrue's school, College of Southern Idaho won the National Championship in 1976, 1987, & 2011
Derrick Rivers' school, Dodge City CC won the National Championship in 1964

I got a feeling our staff will be in attendance for some of those games....

a small forwards/wing .... avg 15 ppg, 8 rpg & good defensively
He draw an incredible amount of fouls and has shot 196 FREE THROWS this season (roughly what Bully has shot), hitting 82%

** Halftime score Cowley Co 46 - Barton CC 37, Noah Williams 6 pts, 3 reb
