The suit may let him play this year with SCC.
Signing an LOI does not prevent you from playing Juco ball. The positive that some posters see out of JW not playing ball is that big schools won't recruit/be after him, giving BU the edge.
JW not signing the LOI sounds like it has more to do with giving himself some footing for this lawsuit (by telling to NJCAA that not being able to play is hindering his ability to move on to the NCAA at a four-year school. (If he signed an LOI, the NJCAA wouldn't care, because he already is set to play DI)
